Turn your book into an audiobook
Upload a PDF or Word document. We clean it up, find the chapters and read it aloud in the voice you choose.
- Best results: a Word file (.docx), or a PDF saved from your writing program, where you can select and copy the words.
- Scanned books work too: we check the text and, if it's poor, read it from the page images. Check names and numbers before recording.
- Page numbers, running headers, footnotes and contents lists are removed for you.
- Always listen to the voice sample before recording the whole book.
- Only upload books you wrote or have the rights to.
Your audiobook quote
Check the chapters before we record. Rename them, fix any text, merge pieces that belong together or split long ones.
Give it a cover
Tell us what the cover should show and we'll design it, with the title and author on it. Or upload your own.
Choose the narrator
Hear a sample of your own book in any voice before you record the whole thing.
Recording…
You can leave this page. Your audiobook keeps recording and will be here when you come back.
The .m4b file has chapter markers and plays in Apple Books, VLC and most audiobook apps. The MP3s are one file per chapter.
Ready for Audible and the other stores
One download with everything a store asks for: every file checked and fixed to Audible's (ACX) audio rules, long chapters split under 2 hours, a 3-minute retail sample, square covers (3000 and 2400), a written listing with description and keywords, and a check report.
